The following list of 100 suburbs are some of the worst places for renters right now. Each area (statistical area 3) has a maximum vacancy rate of 1%. This makes it hard for renters to switch suburbs to find another property easily. Then only suburbs with more than 1,000 renters have been included, which makes competition for scarce rentals even harder. Finally the vacancy rate is then selected with the 100 lowest percentage suburbs presented.
